My prayer mat is from Najran, a rural town in southern Saudi Arabia near Yemen. I’ve known many people from there, and they are such friendly people.
This prayer mat , as you can see, is a woven natural fibre one. It is traditionally perfumed with oud essential oil, and so it smells very beautiful whilst praying.
